How much is this lexus rx300 part?
i went to the dealership and they told me its 1100 each and 300 each to install... the part number is 42340-48011... i looked it up and it says drive axle assembly rear... im seeing them everywhere for 70-80 dollars...can someone please help me

Depending on what your problem is the rear axles are over $1,000 each. The usual problem with them is that the ABS ring on the axle breaks and causes the ABS to activate on dry roads at low speeds.The aftermarket axles don't come with this ring and if it is broken you don't have one to...

How reliable are lexus'? do they have good longevity?
im thinking of purchasing a used one with quite a bit of miles on it and im just wondering if it would be worth it. i would like to hear from previous or current lexus onwers only please. also im looking into the rx 300. serious answers only please

Lexus are very reliable cars. You should be able to put at least 200k miles on it, easy. Reference:Lexus Owner.

There is a rubber boot that the steering shaft goes into right above the brake pedal. Get a small screwdriver and lubricate the inside of it with something like wd40. This should take care of the problem
