What do you think about the Nakamichi stereo in the 2001 Lexus RX300?

I own a 2001 Lexus RX300 AWD vehicle...I thought I have seen some models where you can turn off the AWD...?
Does anyone know anything about this option? I don't think my vehicle has it (I just got it, so I am looking into it). If anyone knows about this option please let me know....thank you!

The AWD system is on all of the time. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn it off.

I have a 2001 lexus rx300.i am getting ignitor codes of po 300, po 1300, etc. No one caln help me.?
I am a mechanic and can't figure out the problem with the truck. I am getting all types of ignitor codes po300, p1300, p1305, p1310, p1315 p1320, p1325, the truck is bucking around 1800-2100 rpm.

My 2001 RX300 with 106,000 miles just froze up and we were told we need new engine...?
the oil light came on and we got the oil changed even though it was not due, the light went off for a few miles and then came back on, then it just stopped. We had it towed to the shop and they said it was the sludge problem...but lexus says the warrenty was up in 08...we never new there was a recall and never had a problem before...we always took...

What you should do is join the THOUSANDS of others that have already signed the petition to get Toyota to admit the sludge is due to poor engine design and to repair or replace the defective engines. The fault lies squarely with Toyota and Toyota engineers, not you. Here is a link for the petition...
