Trade from a truck to a jeep?
I was just approached by my neighbors son today about trading a 2WD 2005 Nissan Titan for a 4WD 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport. My truck has about about 90000 miles on it and has just had the radiator replaced while the Jeep has around 110000 - 120000 miles and is in "outstanding" condition. Does anyone have any advice on this?

The Jeep is a steal...the 4.0's can last beyond 300,000 miles with proper maintenance. Also, your getting a 4x4!! I bet the bluebook is higher for the Jeep than your truck. Reference:Owner of multiple Jeeps.

Does it not come out of defrost or not move to defrost? If it won't come out of defrost open the hood, look on the drivers side at the intake manifold. Check the side of it to see if there is a vacuum line off. If there is reconnect it then use a zip tie to secure it in place. Your vent controls...

There is a small vacuum valve that is in line with the vent door in the A/C box that is faulty. Call your Jeep dealer parts department and he can tell you where it is and how much the part is. When you call have the last 9 digits of your VIN to give him. Reference:Still playing with cars after 35...

While some compact trucks come close to the same performance envelope of the 2009 Jeep Wrangler, there is no direct comparison.

The Nissan Xterra is a four-door sport-ute with a rugged look and off-road versions that offer some, but not all, the Wrangler's rocky-road prowess.

The Nissan Frontier has a big V-6 option, a four-door body style, and a unique canvas sunroof that opens its cabin to the elements.

The Toyota FJ Cruiser is the Wrangler’s closest rival for pure style; it gets its retro design from the 1960s FJ, yet has modern components from the Toyota 4Runner that are a bit more road-friendly than those of the Wrangler.
