I have had a ticking noise so i pulled my valve cover off i got a rocker arm that seems to have been slapping the cover. Now my next question is valve adjustment. The valves on the 4.0L aren't adjustable. It has hydraulic lifters and a slight tick is common. If your rocker arm has been hitting the valve cover then you have a serious issue.
