Take it to the Auto Body Shop and have a Professional Mechanic install it for you. Rust can complicate the job and make it tougher to install.

Help on deciding about a 1999 jeep wrangler lift kitf?
without a lift what is biggest size tire i could get. with a lift what are the tire sizes to get. I need a complete lift package. I do not want to have to buy any more parts to go with the lift. Any help from a jeep person? I do want a 4" lift

The largest you can fit without a lift is 31" tires. With 4" of lift the best tire size is 33" tires. You can fit 35's but they will look stuffed in the wheel wells and will rub if you go off road. Reference:99 TJ with 3" of lift and 33" tires that occasionally rub when off road.


Is it draining back into your passenger floor compartment leaving ridiculous amounts of water in a ridiculously short period of time? My '98 Wrangler was doing that to me all the time.
