Jeep Liberty Makes Squeaking Noise at 2 RPM??
Whenever I'm going like 65-70mph (when it hits 2rpm), I hear a squeaking/squealing noise coming from the front of the Jeep, like behind the steering wheel. Anyone know what this could be? How much to get fixed?? Thanks! lol, well of course 2,000. (x1,000rpm).

I'm amazed you can still drive it since it only operates at 2 RPM. Or do you mean 2,000 RPM?

How do I get the headlight trim off a JEEP Liberty so I can aim the headlights?
It's JEEP Liberty 2006

open the hood there should be a pin somewhere around the light to release it and adjust it. if yo go to the dealer you bouhgt it from they should adjust if for free or at least real cheap. also therer might be something wrong with what is holding it which the warranty should cover.

4X2 Jeep Liberty?
I have the option to save money on my next lease and opt for a 4X2. How much better is a 4X4 versus the 4X2. I have the 4X4 now on my 2006 Liberty, but if I can save $30 a month to go with 4X2, then I will, only if it's ok to drive in bad weather conditions w/o it. I live in Michigan, snows about 4 months out of the year.

Kind of answered your own question. You live in an area that gets a lot of snow, get the 4x4, an extra $30 a month is a lot better than getting caught stuck in the snow in a Jeep. I don't even know why they make 2WD jeeps, its not a jeep unless its a 4x4.

Other Choices

Why should I also consider these? X

If you really want genuine Jeep performance, the 2010 Liberty doesn’t disappoint.

If you want something that just looks like it could go off road, there are better choices.

Among those more carlike candidates are the Subaru Forester, which has a tough all-wheel-drive system that can take on muddy, rutted trails quite well.

The RAV4 is styled closer to an SUV, but it's similar to a car too; inside you can specify a small third-row seat.

Honda's CR-V is one of the smoothest-riding and most fuel-efficient, and it's a good choice for those who don't plan to venture off-road.

For those who want hardy off-road alternatives and really plan to take to the trail, the Nissan Xterra is a good choice, especially if you have a lot of equipment to haul around.

And for off-road fashionistas, the FJ Cruiser is a hot ride.
