How much can a 2002 Jeep Liberty tow WITHOUT the factory tow package?

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited with the 3.7L V-6. I do not have the factory tow package. I have installed my own class IIIhitch. No NO and no..you just don't have enough vehicle period, sorry. The Jeep will be under braked with the load, and overstressed in the transmission and cooling system. It's not actually an error code. It's just a printed portion of the dashboard. If it appears to be illuminated, it may be caused by reflection or light bleeding through. However, it does not signify a fault in your vehicle.
