Getting some minor pinging and need some suggestions about what might be causing it. The Liberty has had all recommended maintenance and I've been using synthetic oil. Check your maintenance schedule. That vehicle requires spark plugs to be changed at 30,000mi. (as well as some other services). If you take it to a qualified technician with a proper scan tool you will probably find a code P0300 and maybe other missfire codes. It's likely just due for a tune-up...

i have a 2004 jeep liberty and there is a cd stuck inside the slot. it is just a one cd player not a 6 cd changer or anything. is there anyway i can get the cd out? or even fix the whole problem?

yeah, you'll need to reach in with a small screw driver and poke at it, lift, just basically "jiggle" it. The usually will come out with a little proding. If you really want genuine Jeep performance, the 2009 Liberty doesn’t disappoint.
If you want something that just looks like it could go off road, there are better choices.
Among those more carlike choices are the Subaru Forester, which has a tough all-wheel-drive system that can even take on muddy, rutted trails.
