How much transmission fluid goes in my 2001 jeep cherokee 2wd?
i have a 2001 jeep cherokee and i just drained the trans fluid and the manual says the fluid capacity is 4 quarts. is that correct or more for a 2wd its an automatic transmission

The fluid capacity of the pan is approx 4 quarts. However the transmission holds more in the torque converter, but you can't get that out without a pump or running the vehicle. So yes your essentially changing 4 quarts And yes your 2wd transmission has the same fluid capacity of the 4wd...
