There is a little chrome piece you press to open the wood piece that covers the front cupholder. If its the wooden piece that covers the cupholder, then i would say to take it into a dealership. The warranty will cover that.

Try Memphisequipment.com. Most M-35s come with a PTO. You just add a gear to the transfer case and the shift linkage. Another option is a 24 volt electric hoist. I have seen these work very well. Reference:My hubby owns an AM General M-35. MVPA.org is another site with many links.

If you are happy with your M, I would say you did not make a mistake. The M is an amazing car, and considered much more luxurious than the G. The G35X may have been all that you really needed, but the M has more room, more features, and is more comfortable. If it makes you feel any better, I hate...
