The VQs generally are quite stout and sturdy, though the HR absolutely *requires* premium fuel and will not tolerate the cheap stuff. I wouldn't worry. Reference:I'm still running a VQ30DE from 10 years ago

Will Infiniti change the body style of the M35 & M45 in the 2008 model year?
This is a question about the Nissan Infiniti M35/45 exterior body style in 2007 vs 2008, I'm not concerned about the interior or features not visible from the vehicle exterior. Thanks.

No. Same body for the 2008, but they may change the engine for the 2009 model to 3.7 liter and 4.7 litter engines. For those model the name will be change to M37 and M47 Reference:Infinitihelp.com, infiniti.com

I noticed that Infiniti has released most of their 2008 cars, except for the M35 and M45 (their website only shows the 2007 still). Is Infiniti going to make a 2008 M class?

Yes Infiniti is going to make an 08 M class , but it is going to be slightly different than the previous model M classes. they are changing the shape of the headlights and tail lights slightly and giving the car new wheels, which is most likely prolonging the car from coming out, vs. the other...

I need to do some modifications to the electrical system in my 2008 Infiniti M35. I need to get my hands on a wiring diagram for the audio/navigation related wiring harnesses. Can this be downloaded from somewhere? Or purchased at a reasonable cost somewhere?
