Why when driving my 1999 Hyundai Tiburon I turn on the lights and very quickly for a split second the car seems as if it going to shut off. It dosen't happen very time but like if i wait a minute and try again it will do it again. By shut off I mean the tach drops (comes right back) and the whole car pulsates (once) as well as the radio restarts...

My 1999 Tiburon needs a Transmission and I might buy a totaled 1997 with a working transmission. Would the 1997 work in the 1999?

It depends on the date your car was built. If it was made before June 1 1999 then you can use a tranny from a Tib built in 1997-1998. If it was after June 1, 1999 then you can use trannys from Tibs built in 2000-2001. I always tell people looking for used parts to look here as a start...

Anybody know where you can buy a replacement clock for a 1999 Hyundai Tiburon?
I bought a used one a few months back and the clock does not work, it just blinks 1:00 and shorts out when you try to set it.

If you buy this part from a Hyundai dealer it has been modified to stop this from happening. If you buy it from a junk yard or wreckers you will end up with the same problem you have now.
