i got a honda s2000 2001 .. i got a check engine light 80 k miles. !! PO401 what is it ? and how can i fix it thanksss.

the code P0401 is the an E.G.R. low flow...most Honda's have ports and or plugs the you can remove to clean out the carbon build up in the EGR ports...As far as i know the S2000 does not have ports or plugs that you can remove to clean the EGR ports out...you may need to replace the intake...

Should I buy a 2001 Honda S2000 with a blown engine?
Its $5000, 105k on the body, transmissions fine, new clutch, body's dented in both rear quarter panels, soft top needs to be repaired/ replaced. Interiors in MINT condition, and has a performance exhaust system. Also may need a paint job. Acura Rsx's are Type Slow. The S2000 has a f20c not k20a.
