I really like the car. It's not too big, not to small and there is alot of room inside. I live in the city. What are the pros/cons about the Honda Element and would you recommend it for a first car choice for a 16 year old?

I don't have much knowledge about cars. My car is a new Honda Element and the maintaince indicator is on. It also shows Oil life is 15%.what does this mean? What should I do?Should I bring it to a Honda dealer? Does it cost any money?

Oil life % is just to get you in for an oil change, the % is based on how many miles have been driven since the last time the maintenance light was reset and new oil was supposed to be put in, it is in no way accurate to the actual condition of the oil. Don't confuse the maintenance light with...

Would it be safe/okay to put additives into my Honda?
I have an '03 Element with 96k miles on it and Ive always taken care of it as far as basic maintenance so Im wondering would it even be necessary to add an additive like a lucas or something??

Additives will be perfectly fine and they work right away. Some though aren't necessary and are just a waste of money. Keep up on the regular maintenance and you're good to good. Some STP fuel cleaner wouldn't hurt once in awhile and run a gallon or 2 of premium (91) from time to...

The 2010 Honda Element doesn't fall into a clear class with direct competitors.
It's a bit larger than most of the boxy cars we'd normally compare it to.
