Okay. So I had an oil change about a month ago. Its been 1,500 miles since I had the oil change. The oil sensor tells me that I have 15% oil life. I did some research and I figured that the technician forgot to reset the oil gauge. So, I decided to reset it and now its says I have 100 % oil life. Mouse, look at it like this. Oil today is so much more advanced than 20 years ago. If you have put 1500 miles on your oil change you cant go another 2 to 3000 more.
