Anyone else have this....problem (2000 honda crv 5 speed)?
3000rpm at 100 km per hour in fifth gear, not accelerating just cruising at that speed....is it just me or is that just too high, all other cars rev at just over 2000 at that speed..i think it revs WAY to high..anyone know of a possible way to fix this or am i just stuck with rather annoying problem (function) Any comments will be great! Thanks

That's a normal rpm for that engine at that speed. Reference:Honda dealer employee for many years.

You will need four quarts of oil 5w30 is good for that. you need a drain...

Well the crv has struts not shocks on all 4 corners. Struts require special tools to replace. You could remove them from the vehicle and take them to a shop to replace, then reinstall them on the vehicle. That could save you a few hundred in labor costs.
