The Built in anti theft is very effective and is not that easily disabled without disabling the fuel pump as well so even if they get past it they won't get very far without fuel. a lot of cars do this because for emissions and fuel economy the computer runs the engine very lean,meaning that the engine is barley running in a sense,some cars,like Mazda's will give a little shudder when you turn on the headlights
