How do I change the oil filter on a 2008 Honda Civic Sedan LX?
OK.... I have a bet going with my boyfriend. I told him if he could figure out dinner for one week straight, and prepare, and clean up... I could figure out how to change his oil. I can't ask him this question... I drained the oil, but I can't get the oil filter off! Do I turn it clockwise or counter-clockwise? I'm afraid I'm just tightening it...

righty tighty, lefty loosey. turn counter clockwise to loosen. filter must be cool to remove, not hot. when u remove the filter, be sure to coat the new filter's o-ring seal with some oil - use your finger. hand tighten hard. drop 4 qts of oil in. wait 5 minutes, check oil to see if it needs...

if anyone knows, can i pull of the rear emblem on my 08 civic sedan then paint it black and then replace it without having to buy a new emblem or is that not possible?

I have an 08 honda civic sedan LX and while browsing online i saw that canada version of my car is on the Acura line up also it looks abit nicer. i Like the metal gill it has and the tail lights. I want to know if their is away i can make my car look like that? aftermarkets parts, or brands i have no knowledge of these types of things,

yeah they actually just have the JDM civic front and rear bumpers on them. You can get these, but it will most likely not be cheap. heres a whole jdm front conversion, you will need different headlights and hood to match up to the bumper correctly. as you can see, its certainly not cheap, but this...

Hi i asked this question a little earlier but im trying to just swap out my headlight bulbs on my 2008 honda civic si but i can't get to the passenger bulb because there is some spring like mechanism (im not sure what it is) in the way. I can get to the drivers side bulb by removing the excess coolant container but as far as i know, i cannot get...
