What is the transmission fluid capacity of a 2008 Yukon Hybrid?
I mistakenly drained the tranny fluid and know have no idea what the capacity is. Nothing about the transmission is stamped under the hood. All the dipstick says is how much is needed.

yeah make sure you go to the gm dealer and buy the recommended grade of fluid and ask the trannys capacity before you go putting in the wrong stuff and risk losing your warranty some dealers just look for reasons not to approve repairs.

Are the doors or any other body panels on the 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid made of aluminum?
I'm looking to double check a somewhat fishy explanation I got from the dealer on an item I asked them to look into on my last service visit. When I purchased it the dealer told me the rear door/hatch was aluminum and no power lift was available as a weight saving move on the hybrid models. They didn't tell me any of the rest of the body was...

Only the hatch is made of aluminum. The rest of the body is made of steel. There is no difference between the body of a hybrid or gas powered Yukon, Suburban, Escalade etc... They are all the same. Reference:collision center manager

Is my 2008 yukon denali equipped with flex fuel?
i bought my denali with 40k miles and a year old. there was no owners manual included with it. does anyone know if it is equipped with the E-85 flex-fuel? Thanks! :)

I honestly don't know i have a cadillac escalade and it doesn't have flex fuel. There's an easy way to check though. If your Yukon has flex fuel there will be a flex fuel badge on the tailgate.

It`s not the gage, is the float level inside the gas tank not working properly or getting stuck, you can`t fix this, the float have to be replace and the bad news is that the float and gas fuel pump come together, they are attached, so in order to fix this problem replace the fuel pump, just to...
