If you have less than 36,000 miles or an extended warranty then return to the dealer. If not, and the alarm is aftermarket - eliminate the alarm and recheck. Check every fuse with a test light ($8.00) or pull each one and look (key off) Reference:20yr Tech>GM

GMC Terrain 2010 Oil problem?
I got my GMC Terrain in April 2011, I first had a problem with the coil pack and now I am having problem with my oil, when I go and check my oil at 2 thousand miles the oil is low. Do I have to change my oil at 2 thousand miles instead of 3 thousand miles?

First off, do not listen to the ones above who said check the oil life. That damn thing is worthless!!!!!!! Thats another GM screw up. Most come on 7,000+ after you ran the car out of oil. Gm says you can use a quart of oil for every 2,000 miles which is normal. Check your oil level at fill ups...

When will the 2010 GMC Terrain be available to buy?
Other than "Fall 2009", is there a set date? I'm in the process of getting a new car and would like to have an idea of when I could get the Terrain or if I should just go ahead and buy something now.
