I have a 2004 gmc sonoma and i wish to have it turbo charged. is this a good idea for my engine?

im not the kinda person that hot rods around.

You can as long as you have it tuned for the turbo charger. The engine already has 4 bolt mains which is a good thing, you can start with a simple 6 PSI of boost and add a alcohol/water injector just to make sure you don't detonate the engine at WOT. You are also going to have to find a speed shop...

Hard to tell since you didn't list a year. Go to Autozone.com and enter in your year, make, and model. They have a lot of information on where the parts are located. Click on "repair info" and then "component locations". Good luck.

yeah the sonoma is the same exact truck as the chevy s-10 just wit a gmc badge on it. since its a two wheel drive your not going to find many and not many that lift it real high bcuz its 2wd but look at roughcountry.com superlift.com fabtech.com summitracing.com jcw.com skyjacker.com they all make...
