What size gas tank on a 2004 GMC Sierra?
I think we just got ripped off on gas. Truck is a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 2 door Regular cab. Can anyone tell me what the gas tank size is? I tried to find it on the net but no luck. We think it's a 26 gallon tank so I'm not sure how we managed to put in (per the pump) 27.370 gallons and it was not on E.

you are dead on with your assumption of fuel starvation. the problem is the fuel volume. hook up a fuel pressure gage, and check the pressure at key ON Eng OFF, should be 55-62 but if you have Vin Z 48-52 but I'm guessing that your pressure is good. now you need to drive the truck , while...
