I have a 2000 Yukon Denali and am getting a code P0141 O2 Sensor "Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 2.
Can anyone explain if this just means this O2 sensor is probably bad and needs to be changed. And if so, where exactly is this sensor located. Also, I know there are (4) O2 sensors in all...are they all physically the same sensor but just in different locations?

I own a shop, and do extensive computer related diagnostics & repairs. This code doesn't mean the sensor is bad, but it does mean something is wrong on that circuit. Going with the odds, it's about a 80% probability the sensor is bad. What the code does mean is; There is an out of range, or no...

You need to replace the multi function switch. It'll fix your problem. They have a common high failure rate.
