IF I WERE TO DISASSEMBLE THE FRONT END (BUMPER, brackets, lights AND SURROUNDING TRIM) OF MY 2006 GMC CANYON?
DO I NEED TO WATCH OUT FOR AN IMPACT SENSOR OF ANY SORT? IF SO WHERE IS IT LOCATED? AND WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD I TAKE TO PREVENT SETTING OFF MY AIR BAGS?

Disconnect the battery and have fun. Just be aware of all the wire harnesses and be careful not to damage.

remember you have abs. bigger tires will change your ratios. I'm not sure but you may have to have the computer tire ratio changed to not set a code that will disable your abs. Remeber also bigger tires mean less brakes also. Reference:experience
