I have a 2004 GMC Canyon the blower would work intermittently?
after replacing the resistor block it was cured, now 3 months later it is doing it again, anybody had a similar problem

It sounds like the blower motor is going bad and drawing to much voltage thru resistor burning it up. Repl resistor then check current draw to blower I am not sure what the range should be but you can look it up. Reference:GM Mech 15yrs

my first question is...a 2004 why do you think the bearings are bad. this is not normal for a 3 yr old car. Any how...you pull the wheels...then remove the brake calipers. Then undo the center hub bolt and pull the hubs. the outer bearings will come out ok...but you must use a punch and hammer to...
