it could be done but you will need a huge can of whoopass to accomplish this, one is gm one is ford and there is no similarity as to how things are done, this will be a huge task

No way the vw competed against the big block Thunderbird, except in gas mileage.. The Thunderbird was a sports luxury car or touring car. competitors were the Pontiac Grand Prix an Buick Rivera..

1994 Ford Thunderbird 4.6 died on me?
I have a 1994 t-bird with the v-8 and the other day I stopped at the store after work and it took about 3-4 tries before it would start. Then 2 days later I was driving home after work and sitting at a red light and it shut off on me. It didn't stumble or anything just shut off. I tried about 20 or so times to start it but it would not. It cranked...

Could be a fuel pump issue, or I think a relay got hot and kicked out on you. I get the codes read, if no codes then replace the relays under the hood, in the power dist box. The PCM , Fuel pump. The don't cost a lot and may fix this Reference:Ford Tech 17 Yrs ASE Master Tech
