Yes it would be a good first car for numerous reasons, it should cost around 16 grand.

if you want look at the hertz websites they should start selling them by the end of the year and the ford dealer will have some of them to also get on yahoo autos might see some in the next month or so with several thousand miles on them

Check out what a lightly/moderately modded 2010 Taurus SHO runs in a 1/4 miles...?
Take a guess and then watch. 2010 Ford Taurus SHO in action down that track. I believe it has a lot more potential than this even! Please comment Ford Fans! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmALfffgEas Only if it had a sweet sound down the track! I understand Blaze. I like all car manufacturers beside GM.

Why should I also consider these? X

The 2010 Ford Taurus is a big sedan with a capable performance edge.

The latest Chevrolet Malibu occupies roughly the same size class—bigger than the usual front-driver—but offers a fuel-saving four-cylinder version and a hybrid edition, though no all-wheel drive.

The Toyota Camry and Honda Accord also offer four-cylinder options; the Accord’s styling stretches the envelope like the Taurus and its handling is better than most full-size sedans, while the Camry appeals to other buyers who want more traditional styling and a more sedate driving experience.
