I own a 2003 Ford Taurus and had to replace the transmission at 53,400 miles. Anyone have anything similar?

No I sold mine with almost 200000 miles and never had any problems with the transmission. You didn't have the transmission power flushed did you?

2003 Ford Taurus with loud supension knock when going over even the smallest bumps. Any ideas?
Just replaced the upper strut bearings and it did no good.

If the strut bearing did not do the trick, you probably have a bad strut. Reference:Did the same on my 98 and still had the clunk, when I replaced the struts, no more noise.
