2001 ford taurus?
I have a water leak. I can not find a leaky hose but when it runs there is water dripping in front of the R passenger tire. It is not showing hot. I was told by a friend it sounds like a heat coil. Any one else? Ideas. Suggestions. Will stop leak help? Well, I had it fixed today. The coolant resevior was ed in 5 places.

Is the liquid antifreeze? In front of the tire sounds like the water jug on the pass side inner fender they tend to crack on as seam, it could also be the water pump gasket or the plate behind the water pump. If it was a heater CORE the water leak would be on the pass side floor.

CHECK THE HEAT SHIELD ON THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. ITS ATTACHED WITH RIVITS. THEY GET LOOSE AND IT SOUNDS LIKE THE CAR IS FALLING APART. RAP THEM WITH A HAMMER AND NOISE SHOULD STOP.

Look for oil leakage on the shocks. Are the tires cupping or feathering? Do you hear a clunk from the rear or front some times? If you have more then 80000 miles on them, just do it. On a 2001 Ford Taurus SES, where does the wiring for the driver's power window enter the fuse box?
The window will go down but not up. It's only the driver's window that is having problems. I verified that the motor is working by attaching a battery across it both forward and backward to get it to roll down and up. I also checked to make certain the signal from the window button is transmitting. All I can think now is that there's a problem...

did you check the switch, some time they will half way works , the wires go through the kick panel to the fuse box, hope this helps. Reference:36 years @ ford motor co repairman
