I have a 2006 Ford Freestyle and they are saying I need rear brakes?
My car has 58,000 miles on it, the brakes have been replaced twioce before. Is it really time to replace the rear brakes, what about the front brakes, why are they still good? It seems they dont last very long, anyone else have problems with this?

WHEN THE FREESTYLE FIRST CAME OUT,FORD RECALLED THE REAR BRAKES BECAUSE THEY WERE WEARING OUT TOO FAST,SOMETIMES WITH 5000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER!!! THEY CHANGED THE COMPOSITION OF THE PAD TO COMPENSATE.

it's a lot of miles. be sure to have it inspected before you buy it by an independent mechanic. he'll know what to check and make sure it's in decent shape. since it's only 4 years old, it may be a lot of miles on the highway, which are the easiest miles one can put on a car. cruising down the...
