I need help with a 2001 Ford F-150 SuperCrew?
the truck has 80,000 miles it sits in the garage most of the time but last week when i took the truck out it shaked quite a bit and it when its on drive. It also sounds as if someone is spitting when you open the hood. I took it our for a drive and the rpms go up and down a lot. What can this be? i recently installed a k&n air Intake i dont know...

sounds a lot like a spark plug wire that is no longer on the plug, but arcing to something metal, open hood inside garage, roll down drivers window, shut garage door, reach in and fire motor, if there are any flashes of light, or a blue spark, you should see it in the dark garage, a plug wire is...

What is the alternate exhaust option for the 2001 ford f.150 supercrew when it was then sold?
the stock supercrews came with a single side exit exhaust, the other option let consumers get a dual chrome tipped exhaust that exited from the rear, im trying to figure out what exhaust they put.

The only F-150's that came with side exhaust were the 1997 models, the Lightnings, and the Harley Davidson F-150's (some years). The exhaust I think you're referring to is the Harley-Davidson exhaust.

Computer chip?
I have a Ford F-150 Supercrew and I was goin to add a Performance chip do you think this will help in performance. I have already put K&N intake and Magnaflow dual exhaust.

They give a little more power, but not really kick in the seat that most think... Also if chip does any damage to truck, Ford doesn't warranty it
