How can I hide the odometer reading in my 2006 Ford Explorer?
I don't want to roll it back or alter, just hide it when the father in law looks at the dashboard for how many miles are on my vehicle.

Don't let your father-in-law near your vehicle. Then you wouldn't have a problem. The tape idea would work but then it would be obvious you are hiding it.

Right front side of the frame behind an aluminum heat shield. Yes you need a special too to open the locks in the filter hoses. I would change it between 15-20k miles before it really get too clogged Reference:Used car tech 5yr. Honda tech 4 yrs
