The owners manual calls for a AGSF-22PP Motorcraft plug. Is that set in stone or can I use any other suggested parts store plug.?

The general rule of thumb between copper plugs and platinum ones is that copper is a better conductor than platinum, but the platinums have much better longevity. Your tire dealer can tell you how big you can go without putting in a lift kit. You can usually go one size bigger and if you go with a less radical highway tread then you'll pickup better mileage on the highway.

I have a 2004 Ford Explorer and I've noticed recently when I apply my brake, the brake sensor light comes on?
but does not stay on. It just rolled over 100,000 miles on it. Back in July my transmission went out and we purchased a used one from the junk yard. I looked online for any recalls regarding the brakes and did not find any. If anyone can point me in the right direction as to what this problem can be we would appreciate it.
