Where is the temperature sensor located on a 1998 ford expedition xlt?

If it is a 4.6L V8, it's on the intake manifold. If it's a 5.4L V8, it doesn't have one. Instead, it uses a cylinder head temperature sensor, which is located on the driver side cylinder head under the intake manifold. To access, may require removal of the alternator. Hope this helps.

What automatic transmission was in the 1998 Ford expedition 4x4?
I believe it should be a 4R70 but i could be mistaken

If its the 5.4l, then its the E40D but if its the 4.6, it's the 4R70
