Something is broken inside the door, like the nylon glides that attach the glass to the window tracks. You'll have to pop the entire door panel off both doors & see what's what. It could be as easy as the guide rails just came loose...

Unless you're willing to get into rear gear changes, the car is about as good as it's going to get. Removing excess weight is a good way, running the tire air pressure to the hi side of normal..... Reference:'02 Grand Marquis LS-E with Marauder/P71 additions.

Autolamp function on 2003 Crown Victoria?
The autolamp function on my Crown comes on rather late. Do anyone know the location of the sensor. I guess if I sorta cover it up, it should turn lights on earlier?

It depends upon light and has a delay so driving into say a tunnel for half a minute won't turn it on.... but look for the flashing led and cover it up as it's usually the sensor also
