I have 2001 dodge ram 3500 5.9 24 valve cummins?
i have a 5.9 cummins getting alot of miles on it had it in the shop 2 times now i was hopping i can swap that motor out and put the new 6.7 cummins in it can anyone tell me if i can do it

You are just fine with your engine. The 6.7 is just a "bored over" 5.9l with many more expensive pollution controls. If you don't have common rail fuel injection on your 5.9l, swap it out for one that does and you will be good for a long time.

'01 dodge ram 3500 manual transmission fluid?
For reasons unimportant, i find myself dangerously low on manual transmission fluid for my truck, a 2001 dodge ram 3500, dually with a door-and-a-half cab and a 5.9L diesel cummins engine. GenericAutoLandPlace told me that i need 'manual transmission fluid', and that "we dont know what that is and probably dont carry it..". seeing as how google is...

According to my Haynes manual for 1994-2001 Dodge Rams, it says to use the following types. I am not sure exactly what number trans you have so here is what they list. For NV3500 Use Mopar Part# 4767526 or equivalent. For NV4500 Use SAE 75W-90 Mopar part# 4637579 or Castrol Syntorq synthetic gear...
