My 2005 Durango makes a clicking noise when accelerating from a stop or braking?
The clicking isn't really loud but it is noticeable when I am driving. It pretty much goes away once I get up to speed and keep a constant speed. What could the problem be? I can even feel the clicking a little bit through the steering wheel...could that mean it is an axle problem?

check the front brake pads on it and also check for a broken boot on one of the CV joints,the clicking sound your hearing may be coming from an axle in it or the pads getting worn down,noises are the hardest thing to diagnose because we can't hear them,it could even be a small rock in a tire...

if I'm not mistaken you have to lower the tank down on that one to replace it,they changed the way they went on in the newer years in those,ask at a parts store tough to be sure about it,i cant find a diagram to send you on this one,good luck and merry x-mas. Dodge durango 2005 hemi hesitates?
It only hesitates when throttle is applied from idle. And ONLY when the a/c clutch is engaged.

that's normal on some of the hemi,s for them to do that,most of the time you can buy an updated throttle position sensor and stop it from doing that,sometimes its just something as simple as a good tune up on it to cure it,try that first,good luck Reference:been a certified mechanic for 38 yrs...
