1999 Cirrus, constantly overheats also won't shift after 40mph?
the car has been in the shop several times costing big $,but is never fixed. The car is in the shop again and they are putting in some sort of transmission modular? After that I will get the work sheet as to what was done to it ($1500.), so I will probably have to repost during the week. Had it one day and it ran same as always, awful.

You need to be more specific about the work that the shop did to your car. Over heating could be bad thermostat, water pump, radiator, or rad fan(s). Shifting problem could be a bad speed sensor on the tranny, low fliud level, vavle body problem, or the tranny could be worn out. More info please...

Where is the fan relay on a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus?
I just replaced the fan motor and it only works on high. The fan relay must be bad but I don't know where it is. I know they are in the fuse box, but it doesn't say fan relay. I unplugged all the relays and the fan still works on high. So I don't have any idea wich one to replace.

There are 2 relays,low and high fan relays,in the power distribution center (fuse box) under the hood.

head gasket is possible source freeze plugs, radiator tank, heater core. stop by the parts house and get some of the new frouresent dye for coolant systems and put it in. after a day you should have no problem finding the leak if it's external. pay close attention to the seam where the plastic tank...
