No offense, but, the Chevy Uplander all along, has been know to be one of the WORST minivans ever produced in the world. Why do you think GM went bankrupt? They build all their cars this way. Don't fix it, you'll never be able to fix that thing. Sell it at a loss and consider yourself lucky to be...

depends what you mean by "fix" you can only adjust or replace adjustable bearings or replace non-adjustable bearings, there's no way a 2008 uplander should need new bearings unless you have serious damage or a faulty vehicle

Is this a good car?

Here is the info: -Chevy Uplander -Desert...

Why should I also consider these? X

The minivan market is shrinking, and only the best competitors are still standing.

The perennial favorites in the class are the Chrysler and Honda vans.

The Chrysler minivans for 2008 have much more angular styling, and they're laden with features such as in-car satellite television.

The Honda Odyssey still feels the slickest of all, while the Toyota Sienna is a reliable second choice.

The Kia Sedona and Hyundai Entourage are fraternal twins and good performers, though not the great bargains they used to be.
