2007 Chevy Suburban LTZ ....front struts filled with fluid or compressed air?
failed MD State inspection due to a "leak in both left and right front struts" ... brought it to the chevy dealer today and the service guy said that is odd because the new struts they use arent filled with fluid anymore like they used to be a few years back. just wanted to know if the info im getting is legit or if the guys at the state...

They are definitely filled with oil as a lubricant. A leaking strut needs to be replaced.

2007 SUBURBAN 4WD, Z-71, 1/2 TON LT model.?
I have a CK10906 -2007 SUBURBAN 4WD, Z-71, 1/2 TON LT model. The question is (are): What is the 1/2 ton equivalent to? A Ford F-150? Can this baby pull 10,000 pounds? p.s. remember, the Z71 package offers off-road stuff...that should help my towing capabilities.

OK> these horse-shoes are held in place . Do this. Remove the wheels and push in on the axel. THis is after you have removed the pin. To put them back in do the same. push in on the axel and put in the pins, then after thy are in put the pin back in. Reference:Dons Auto Service
