This is going to be a hard question to answer.The 2007 malibu has a really good factory sound system.I dont know anyone that drives a 2002 taurus to check its sound system.Through the years the ford sound systems have always been behind the factory GM sound systems.Best of luck. check brake release switch...brake,s must be applied before it will allow you to shift out of park....try pushing harder on the pedal...it may allow you to disengage so that you can go have your code,s checked..good luck! Reference:45+ year,s wrenching.
