If you're one of those drivers, the standard 430 hp from the 2008 Chevrolet Corvette simply obliterates the ratings of the six-cylinder Porsche Boxster and Nissan 350Z; they're both fine sportscars, but the Chevy Corvette simply outguns them. The energy from the Porsche 911's more powerful six-cylinder evens things up some, but the 911 is more expensive than the Chevy.
