Not only will maintaining it be expensive but it also has terrible gas mileage.

Cadillac STS--keys locked in trunk!?
I have locked my keys in the trunk of my 2006 Cadillac STS and cannot get into the car to press the button to open the trunk!...Any ideas about how to get the trunk to open?? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

They are notorious for head gasket leaks which are arguably non-serviceable and would result in an engine replacement. Oil pan leaks are common and are an expensive repair as the transmission must be removed, also common in the P0401 code for the TCC solenoid which results in a transmission...
