What differences exist between 2001 and 2005 BMW 3 series coupes?
I know some have different tail lights, headlights, and packages... What are these packages - sport, premium, etc?
Source: Yahoo! Answers, 1 answer

In the US, the sports and premium packages (and cold weather package) were all available to the 3-series. Sometime in 2003 or so, a "performance package" option also became available (first for sedans, and later for coupes i believe). The 2001 3-series had a slower steering wheel, which many...

E46 3 series (2000-2005) BMW owners ONLY. Help with choice.?
Seriously considering a 2002 330i manual with the m54 engine. But wondering what standard up keep costs. Things such as oil changes, and tires etc. Also how is the ride quality and handling. Just basically what is your experience with the car. Pros and cons

BMW convertible issues?
Hi I have a 2005 BMW 3 series and just recently my convertible top won't go down. Everytime I press the convertible button an orange light flashes. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Also I cleaned out my trunk and it still would not go down?
Source: Yahoo! Answers, 2 answers

The only thing that I can recommend to a non-mechanic is to check if the "shelf" inside the trunk is in its proper position to accomodate the soft top when it is stowed inside. Other than that a BMW technician with the proper training, diagnostic equipment and experience is the only alternative...
