Then along came the Cadillac CTS-V, which is absent from the market for the 2008 model year, as it's being redesigned. The Mercedes-Benz C63 arrives this year with scorching V-8 power but no available all-wheel drive; ditto the BMW M3, which comes in convertible and coupe editions as well as four-door form.
