For first car I would say no. While price might seem low you need to check how much it would cost to service this, insurance and most important how expensive can parts be and for a car like that it might end up costing you alot especially when replacing small things.

What is a fair price for a wheel baring on a 2003 Audi A6?
Do I just get one replaced or is it better to get both done? I don't know much about cars, and don't want to get overcharged. Thanks.

I actually had both replaced on my 05 A6 because I slid into the curb during a bad snow storm. They are 250 each. Once I wrecked my car the body shop forgot to put "Grease" in my baring's container or something. (Tell your mechanic who is doing the job that the baring's are not greaseless like most...
