2008 Acura TL Type S needs more power.?
I recently bought an 08 TL Type S and it has an intake already. How would I add more HP without breaking my bank since the payments are already borderline for me. Exhaust? Vortec Cyclone?

Well if u want to add quick power without breaking ur pocket I'd say get the basic intake, headers, and exhaust because everything else like a turbo or supercharger will cost quite a bit and intakes headers and exhaust aren't that pricey u will be getting at least over 300 horses...

My lease is up in a few months on my Tl - I love it, its my second, but I am haing difficulty justifying the extra expense, given how much they have packed into the new Accord. I did that - but it just doesn't seem right that they letthe Accord offer all the same stuff for less money

When I use the sportshift mode in my 2008 Acura TL, do I need to up shift when slowing down? ?
the car automatically goes back to 1st gear when in sportshift (tiptronic) when i come to a stop, but i was wondering if i had to shift through 3rd, 2nd and then to 1st when i'm slowing down. Or do I leave it alone and let it up shift itself?

I believe you mean downshift when slowing down. It shouldn't affect it either way but I have found that when you let the computer downshift it doesn't do it as quickly. If your doing some sport driving, you will want to downshift yourself. Don't need to, but I would recomend it.

2008 Acura TSX or TL?
According to Yahoo Auto, the MSRP IS $28,190 for 2008 Acura TSX and $33,725 for 2008 Acura TL. One of the car dealers quoted me something like $26,000 for TSX and $29,800 for TL. Can some auto gurus share your expert opinion on getting a better purchasing price? Thanks very much. http://autos.yahoo.com/acura_tsx/ http://autos.yahoo.com/acura_tl/

Check out Edmunds and Kelley for best possible price you should expect to pay. Check the cost of ownership - the maintenance on the two might vary slightly so one may have some higher month to month / year to year costs. (And at the point - you may want to get insurance quotes to see if either one...

Why should I also consider these? X

When it comes to entry-lux mid-size sedans, there is no shortage of candidates that want to suck the bucks out of your bank account.

Your choices can be similar to the 2008 Acura TL in that they are front-wheel drive.

The Lexus ES and Audi A4 fit here.

Certainly the Audi is the most sporting of the group, but it may not be the easiest car to live with over the long haul.
