We replaced the struts on our 2001 Acura MDX - we have a rattle on the right side.Sears says we need a casing?
Struts are a month old. Left side makes no noise, right side rattles like crazy. Salesman said we needed a casing or container or something else that we didn't buy before. It just sounds fishy to me. It doesn't feel like I have a shock absorber on that side at all. Does this sound familiar?

What are you doing taking your acura to Sears? Sure acura dealerships arn't cheap, but thats why you go to the Honda dealership instead. Sounds like a joint problem. But for a 6 year old car that normally wouldn't be an issue...

I drive a 2001 Acura MDX now at 111,000 miles. I am told to replace timing belt etc for $1100.00. Is it fair?
