What Becomes a Semi-Classic Most?
Hagerty puts FJ atop list of future collectibles.

Collectible cars aren't just from the Sixties - they're being built every day. But what will tomorrow's collector cars be, and how can you buy them all up and store them until they mature into pure garage gold?

The classic-car insurers at Hagerty asked their CEO McKeel Hagerty to find out which of today's vehicles are most likely to become future collectibles. Hagerty says he put together the list based on a variety of factors: low production numbers, popularity, and style. His choices for the ten most likely collector vehicles include the following:

Toyota FJ Cruiser

MINI Cooper

Lotus Elise

Dodge Viper

Acura NSX

Toyota Scion

Audi TT

Jaguar XK

Chrysler 300

"Our goal was to find cars that drivers find appealing now, and that they may consider nostalgic in 15 to 20 years," Hagerty said in a release.
