Hyundai officially outed the new three-door Accent in GS and SE form on the McCormick Place stage, with marketing exec John Krafcik making pointed comparisons with Toyota's new Yaris hatchback. Krafcik says the Accent three-door offers more horsepower than the Yaris and 11 percent more interior room at a lower sticker price. The specs on the Accent include a 110-horsepower 1.6-liter four and six standard airbags for a base price of $10,915. Options range from a subwoofer, six-disc changer and power moonroof to tuning options like a metallic fuel door, LED interior lights, a strut tower brace and cold air induction.
